Nine (soon to be 10!!!) years in Guadeloupe... between paradise and hell... Paradise because the weather is always nice (or almost!), the beaches, the rivers, the nature is marvelous and the people warmer than at home, but hell because it's always TOO hot lately, the lack of supplies, the dirt, the insects, the cost of living too expensive when you're a large family, the strikes of course (even if it's for a good cause sometimes!) which ultimately never change anything...
