We are now looking for a licensed physician with specialist education in general medicine/family medicine (GP) to a beautiful region in Sweden.

Description of the family care centre:

The primary care administration is responsible for basic health care in the field of general medicine for all age groups. The health Centre shall provide care as needed in the form of examination, diagnostics, treatment, nursing, advice and follow-up. The health Centre shall work preventively in accordance with the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines for disease prevention methods. Primary care is person-centred and shall strengthen the patient's ability to maintain, promote or improve their health.

Your duties will consist of everything from emergency cases to preventive care and lifestyle issues. As a specialist in general medicine in primary care, you work together with other professional categories around the patient in, for example, nurse-led clinics. In addition to clinic work, home care is included and the opportunity to work with, among other things, child health care, nursing homes, health work and/or quality work. Work at our emergency centres and emergency duty may be included in the assignment. Supervision of trainee doctors may be included in the assignment in the future.

This health centre is a small and familiar health centre in Region Kalmar County. There are about 12 employees working here who work together to provide safe and secure care with high quality to our approximately 2,500 listed patients. The health centre has a large variation in the patient base and you need to be secure in your professional role as there may be work as a sole doctor at the health centre. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced doctor as a specialist in general medicine to complete the assignment.

The health centre belongs to a municipality with approximately 13,700 inhabitants. About 1,400 people live here, which means that it is a small town in the countryside and you need to like the small and friendly community. There is no gym in the town, but the nearest activities are in the neighbouring towns. The nearest city and coast are about 40 kilometres away. The town offers beautiful nature, lakes, animals and bird life.

Competencies and skills that are particularly important for the position:

It is important that you have good language skills in English skills are advantageous. We prefer that you have a professional approach and a good attitude. We place great importance on personal qualities, which means that you are easy to cooperate, are responsible and can work in a structured and quality-conscious way. Your patients should feel well cared for when they meet you. You are socially competent and have an interest in and ability to work independently and in a team. Assessed personal suitability carries a lot of weight.

Driver's license.

3) 10 years of experience within the specialty.

Conditions:

Employment 1–6 months: SEK 60,000/month.

Employment 7–12 months: SEK 75,000/month

Thereafter individual salary setting as a specialist in general medicine.
