Event Management Intern – Meet&Eat Barcelona
Location: Barcelona, Spain (On-site)
Duration: Flexible (1–6 months)
Start Date: Flexible (Recruitment open year-round)
Remuneration: Commission-based on sales (unpaid internship)
### About the Position
Meet&Eat is looking for a creative and motivated Event Management Intern to help organize, create, and manage social, cultural, and networking events in Barcelona. The intern will assist in developing new event ideas, coordinating activities, and ensuring participants have a great experience.
### Responsibilities
* Create and develop new event concepts and activities.
* Assist in planning and organizing events at our venue and outdoor locations.
* Coordinate with participants, partners, and suppliers.
* Promote events through online and offline channels.
* Help manage event logistics and registrations.
* Support event operations before, during, and after each event.
* Contribute innovative ideas to improve existing events and services.
### Requirements
* Good organizational and communication skills.
* Creative mindset and ability to work independently.
* Interest in event planning, hospitality, tourism, or marketing.
* Basic knowledge of social media is a plus.
* Spoken English is a plus.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
