Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities. This role ensures that all machinery and infrastructure operate efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them before breakdowns occur.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.

Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to ensure equipment reliability.

Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Install new equipment and assist with facility upgrades when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Proficient with hand and power tools.

Good problem-solving and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
