Anna Orlik and Constantin Macherel are prizewinners of international competitions and studied at prestigious institutions: the Royal Academy of Music in London and the International Menuhin Academy in the class of Maxim Vengerov and Maurice Hasson (Anna), and the Music Academy Basel and the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in the class of Ivan Monighetti and later Raphael Wallfisch (Constantin).
Anna has performed as a soloist in renowned halls and festivals such as Victoria Hall, Auditorio Santa Ursula in Lima (Peru), Menuhin Forum Bern, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Crans-Montana Classics, the Rosey Concert Hall, etc.
Constantin’s first solo CD (*Virtuoso Music for Cello*, Claves Records) with the London Mozart Players received the distinction of “5 Diapasons” in 2019 and garnered unanimous praise from international critics; his recording is broadcast on major European radio stations.
His second CD includes works from the 20th century, including Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello, and was described by *Opus Klassiek* as “a jewel in every respect, easily belonging to the highest tier.”
Anna and Constantin are founding members of the ensemble **Léman Virtuosi** and perform regularly with their duo **Violincello**.
