2018 Asia Pacific Film Cooperation Forum

The 2018 Asia Pacific Film Cooperation Forum, co-sponsored by China Film Market Magazine, China Broadcast Film&TV Association, College of Art and Media of Beijing Normal University, Asian and Chinese Film Research Center of Beijing Normal University, Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific, hosted by Beijing Tsinghua Yiyou Technology Culture Development Co., Ltd., will be held in Beijing from 8 to 10 February, 2018.
The theme of this forum is “Film Co-production, Film-sharing Market”. By then, we will discuss the new directions and new strategies for the future development of the Asia-Pacific film market through thematic lectures, forum exchanges, in-depth dialogues and other forms, thus to seek countermeasures to promote the fostering, cooperation and integrating development of the Asia Pacific film market, simultaneously to seek commonalities in the development of the Asia-Pacific film market in the new media environment in order to achieve full docking in ideological concepts, extensive cooperation on the basis of equality of rights, project transactions under the framework of cooperative development, and through this forum to strengthen the exchanges among the member states, film agencies and filmmakers, and at the same time, to enhance mutual understanding and to deepen our friendship.
This forum will give prominence to the actual effect and take the integrating development as its purpose. On the basis of strengthening cooperation in the film market, we will invite relevant departments of the Chinese film industry, representatives of various embassies in China, representatives of Chinese and foreign film organizations and member organizations of the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific to attend. We will analyze and discuss new ideas and concepts of the development of the Asia-Pacific film market from different levels such as talent, path, content production and capital. We will establish new cooperation mechanisms, build new cooperation platforms, deepen strategic partnership and enhance the market competition advantages of the integrating development of the Asian-Pacific films, and interpretate the development of the Asia-Pacific film market in 2018.
In addition, during this forum, we will also host the Development Conference of the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific, breaking barriers and gathering advantages and establishing a mechanism for interconnection and interoperability in the Asia Pacific region and gradually forming a complementary Asia Pacific film circle.
Through this forum, we hope that all member countries and film organizations in the Asia Pacific region will achieve substantive improvement in the Asia-Pacific film market through a new type of win-win cooperation with cross-national thinking.
