I am Doyun Lee, a partner attorney at Newlawyer Law Office in Seoul and a criminal law specialist certified by the Korean Bar Association. My practice focuses on criminal matters.
I advise foreign nationals at every stage of a Korean criminal case – police summons and interviews, arrest and detention, prosecution, trial and appeal – both as defense counsel and as counsel for victims. Common matters include sexual offenses and digital sex crimes, assault, theft, fraud and voice-phishing account issues, DUI and defamation.
Consultations are held directly with me in English, without an interpreter. Clients outside Korea can retain us remotely. Inquiries in Chinese are handled by email.
Our legal fees are published on our website. If you retain us for the same matter, any consultation fee already paid is credited in full toward the legal fee.
