Under the Rainbow has been Budapest's leading English-language nursery and kindergarten for 17 years, with three campuses in the green II. district.
Ages and places: nursery (bölcsőde) from 12 months, kindergarten from 3 to 7 years. Small groups: one adult to four children in the nursery, one to eight in kindergarten, with a maximum of 17 children per group.
Our programme is primarily play-based, combining project-based learning with animal-assisted education, and we hold the government-certified Green Kindergarten award. Extracurricular activities include swimming, piano, music, dance, yoga, chess, football, tennis, aikido and motor-skills development.
An international teaching team including native English speakers, with English, Hungarian, Japanese and Korean among the teachers' first languages. Children from more than 67 nationalities have attended, and 97.8% of our graduates gain admission to their first-choice elementary school.
Campuses, all in Budapest District II: Feketerigó utca 20, 1029 - direct walking access to the forest, near Nagykovácsi and Solymár. Torockó utca 6/b, 1026 - central and easy to reach from across Buda. Levél utca 6, 1023 - on the Rózsadomb, with easy access from Pest.
Open Monday to Friday, 7:30-17:00. Visits by appointment.
