Is Marriage Certificate attestation Mandatory for Belgium visa?

Hello!

I am in Belgium and my spouse is in India and he would like to apply for a Dependent visa. I am here for almost 3 months and waiting for my RP Card to be received from Commune. We have arranged the Family Reunification NON-EU Spouse required documents (Passport of Both of Us, PCC of Spouse, Medical Certificate of Spouse, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Rental Agreement in Belgium, and Mutualaity and Dependent Visa Application).

I just got to know from the source that Marriage Certificate attestation is required. Could you please guide me if it's mandatory? If yes, Help me out with the website link where I can do so?

What is the time duration for the dependent visa to be approved? Is it possible to get this approved in 2 weeks or a month?

For dependent visa application of your spouse you must submit apostille Marriage certificate and apostille birth certificate of your spouse. You need to apostille it from MEA, for that you can take help of travel agents.
