Childcare in Kampala

Hi,

This is my first post. We are in the process of thinking about moving to Kampala, with a 2 year old and a baby (due in August). I am an Ofsted registered Childminder with first aid training and basic food hygiene certificate. Just out of interest do you think that I would get any work childminding children in the expat community in Kampala?

Also my Husband is a softwate developer, could anyone recommend a good place for him to look for job vaccancies? My Mum has just accepted a job in Kampala, and we are keen to move too.

Any help/information would be very much appreciated.

You could try international schools for instance Rainbow International School? Just google a list of international schools in Uganda. As a software developer, your husband is spoilt for choice. I believe he can get a job in most organizations in the country as his field is quite marketable. I hope this helps.
