Employment visa to family visa

My wife was working in a school with employment visa... She left the job... Visa cancelation done.. However my company insisting that for getting family visa.. A NOC from that school is required.. Is there any way possible to get family visa without NOC?

Hi prakashch,

What your employer is asking for is fair.

If any expatriate employee resigns from their job, they must have the employer's NOC to return before 2-years, as a rule.

The NOC is not for getting another job, but the school where she works agreed and not objected if she's still in Oman and sponsored under other company as a spouse.

This is very common here, your wife just need to request this matter. Should be no issue.
