Family visa renewal

Hi recruitaspirants,

Your question is pretty confusing ... are you asking if a spouse or a child who is on a family dependent visa - and who is now NOT in Oman - be given an extension of the family dependent visa ?

As you may be aware, the renewal process requires the issuance of a new Resident Card for which the person's photograph and fingerprints would have to be taken - in person. This is primarily done to ensure and confirm that the said person is alive and is in existence in Oman.

So how do you suppose that would be possible if the person concerned is not available - in person - at the Directorate General of Passport & Residence ?

To cut a long story short, the dependent visa renewals cannot be done remotely.
