First of all thank u so much to give us information. I'm basically from pakistan but currently i am living in italy with my italian wife so i want get a job in norway .anyway i have a friend in norway who has a restaurant in norway and he wants to give me a job in his restaurant. so i dont have italian pasport but i have my italian papers permessi di suggiorno, what is the solution for me to work in my friend restaurant with him in norway ? Can it possible if he give me a contract for work with him?? Can you explain me some thing. Please i'm waiting for your answer

is your wife going to be moving with you? If she is, you can move as a family member of an EEA national.

As a restaurant worker, I suspect your chances of independently getting a work permit is very limited. There is a work permit for an ethnic cook but it has a long list of restrictions, including that you have to have ten years of experience and be hired to cook food that can only be from one country.
