Business visa

Hi.  I am planning to go to bahrain. My friend from Bahrain has already got me a business visa. I want to ask if you have any idea about the actual copy of business visa in Bahrain. Becausemy friend has only sent me a copy of the receipt with all the details in it including visa number and expiration date.i asked him if he can send me the visa copy but he said that there is no visa copy needed as my record is already at the immigration and i just have to show my passport because my details is already in their system. I don't want to offend him by asking it again. Is it true that the receipt from bahrain ministry already serve as the visa?please help because i am planning to book ticket this week.thanks in advance.
