Assalamualaikum everyone,
As of all the new rules and regulations, it's still very unclear and confusing to all the expats. I was hoping to visit my homeland for a few months, I wanted my exit re-entry visa for 6 months. However, my Iqama ends on January 19, 2018. As far as I know, you can get re-entry visa at least 2 weeks before the renewal. But, I only got till end of November. Are there any new rules regarding this? It would be extremely kind of you, if I can clear up the issue.

Exit re-entry visa rules have been changed !! Now you can apply for single exit for one to 12 months or a multiple one from 3 to 12 months !!
So I guess probably you took the one till November
