My family may move to Malta in six months. I'm just trying to get a sense for our options. I'm sure we would rent for a couple of years, but after that, we would want to buy. I've done some googling but it's actually quite hard to figure out if an American can buy a primary residence in Malta. Our income will likely be between 50 and 75 thousand.
Can nonEU residents of Malta get a mortgage?

as far as i know yes you can, you'll most likely need 30% deposit.
