Is there any Western restaurants take a cook assistant learner?

Hi,

I want to learn how to be a cook assistant so bad.

I joined a Vietnamese kitchen as a cook assistant about a month and learnt what I should have done and I did it well.

Now I want to learn or work at a Western restaurants kitchen.

I need that when I travel, because I could get a temporary job like that to having money, keep my journey lasts long as it could.

Any ideas?
