I am from Cameroon and will be visiting Canada soon. After a stop over at Montreal, i will move to Alberta. Can some one tell me the cost of transportation from Montreal to Edmonton?Bus, metro or train.

It's too far to go from Montreal to Edmonton by bus, train, etc, unless you really want to go that way. Probably wouldn't be much less than a flight either. Might be more.
I did a sample search on westjet.ca and I seen one-way flights for as low as $250 CAD including all taxes.
Just try some searches yourself:
YUL: Montreal
YEG: Edmonton

Just to see what it would cost & how long it would take, I did a sample search on greyhound.ca to take the bus from Montreal to Edmonton.
Lowest non-refundable fare: $195
Refundable, transferable fare: $244
2 days & 7 hours of travel time. 3 transfers with one search, 5 in another.
I sure wouldn't travel this way to save $50-$100.
Close to 20 years ago, I drove with a sister from Edmonton who was starting a job in the Washington, DC area. We drove there in 5 days.
I flew back to Edmonton in 5 hours.
Just a wee bit preferable..
