We are about to arrive in Bangkok for a 7 night stay in Bangkok staying at the Sheraton Grand Sukumvit. How safe is it for travellers at the present. Do you suggest we not come over?

Well, if you dont get near the reds, you're alright. And the Sheraton is quite far from them.
