Hi all, am Jombo from Nigeria and would love to do my Masters degree in Finland, thankfully tuition is free but the problem is raising the amount the embassy expects every individual to have to cater for their cost of living. So I want to know if I somehow get an invitation letter and apply for visa to come stay with someone in Finland, would I be allowed to study and work?

Hi Jumbo,
I don't think it is possible unless they lend you the money. I am not 100% sure about it but you can check with your local Finnish embassy.
I wanted to ask whether you have received your acceptance letter from your desired university?
If yes please tell me how hard was it for you to get admissions and have you cleared the entrance test yet ?
