Hoi expats,
I have been in this country for quite some time, but during my recent visit to Belgium, I realised again that we give up some excellent food. Is there anyone out there that knows of a Fish monger where I can purchase Eel - PALING?

Hi Marleen,
Have you tried the Food Lovers Market? I've seen Eel sometimes there, they have a nice sea food selection.
Or that little market next to the Windmill in Hartbeespoort?

I know the feeling when it comes to food you really miss!

Thank you for some of the replies to the Paling (eel) I have been to those stores but still no luck - if anyone has been able to source eel - please let me know.
