Okay, so after a 'helluva' send off and four days driving round Europe with a grouchy cat we finally arrived in Rome. I've given up my job, left my friends and vacuumed packed ALL my clothes for fear I may never be able to afford any again. My priorities were shall I say a little askew? Bringing the 1950s taffeta ball gown instead of a blanket and a torch light was a little inconvenient when we snow ploughed down a hill somewhere near Geneva? but six hours later in Liguria all was well. So without further ado here is the full story of my life in Rome
