There are several social groups for Rome newcomers that are great. I am the organizer for Expats living in Rome if you like to come along we meet on Tuesday nights at 8.30pm- Tomorrow we are meeting in an old theater in the center that is now a restaurant/cafe - food and drink is 10.00 usually. Let me know if you want to meet up we can also meet at 8pm before the crowd comes in.
