Bringing a pet

I am very interested in teaching in Saudi Arabia, however when I asked a recruiter about bringing my dog they said that it's impossible... anyone know if there are jobs that would allow me to bring my very small rescue puppy?

I'm currently in South Korea teaching but I know I would have to go home to the UK for the visa process. I figure I would leave my pup here with my vets (who also do pet relocation) and have her brought out to my in Saudi when I'm settled- yes I realise it will be expensive :P

Definitely you can bring the pets to Saudi Arabia considering that you follow the official requirements (i.e. issuing health certificate). You need to ask your agent. I am working in education sector and I've seen people who brought their pets with them.

i am pretty sure you can bring your pets easily, go to the saudi embassy in the country the dog is currently in and ask them they will give you a list with things you would have to do :)
i personally have a personal experience bringing my cat :)

You can bring your dogs to ksa, But I believe there are different ways to bring different dogs (Not entirely sure if there are different ways or not), Any dog around husky, shepard size are under guard dogs category. Don't know how to do for smaller ones but if shouldn't be that different, Get your dog vaccinated from well that will recognized and get the certificate (should be within some specific time like a month before leaving), Get dog a passport. Other than that I don't know the process. Maybe you can contact these people for better answers.
