Expats living in Cuenca

Can anyone tell me what area/neighborhood the Expats are in??
Until my spanish is fluent i'de feel better if i could speak to someone in english.

Expats live all over town, but the biggest concentration is around Ordonez Lasso on the west side of town.

i cant WAIT to be there!  Thanks for your input!
Susan

I can certainly understand your concern on the language issue. I just returned from my initial " scouting trip ", and I spent 2 weeks in Cuenca. I can honestly say, I never ran into a situation in that 2 week period where there wasn't someone that was able to assist me. Actually, you'll find the locals are so cool, willing to help, and if they have any English skills, are thrilled to use them.
Don't get me wrong, you'll want to learn the language, but you'll certainly survive that gap time.
Stay Well,
Neil

Thanks for the great news.  One by one each fear is disappearing, the scouting trip will only be a formality.  Im already so sure about this.  Yeah!!!!
