The Philippines has been the ASEAN - EU Country Coordinator since 2021, and stays in the role until 2024.
The ASEAN and EU Commemorative Summit today celebrates 45 years of relations between the world-blocs.
President Marcos said this Summit will involve “in-depth discussions on the most relevant issues concerning both regional organizations” such as global and regional security, sustainable development, and economic cooperation, among the objectives. This is Marcos' first visit to Europe as Philippine leader.
