Hi, my company applied for an S Pass last month and today MoM told them that the application has been rejected and to find another candidate. I saw on some other posts here that sometimes they do give this generic reason.
The company HR told me that MoM does not allow them to appeal. Has anyone here encountered this situation before where there is no option to appeal at all?
All rejections can be appealed against, but the wording "This candidate is not eligible for a work pass, please find another candidate" is not a generic reason, but a strong indication that something is wrong with you as employee and there is no point in appealing.
You probably have an "adverse record" and should work on removing that, before you start any other attempt to find a job in Singapore!
