Hi everyone,
I am from the UK and have been offered a job as a dance teacher in Hong Kong and wanted to get peoples views or living in Hong Kong?
I am also looking for somewhere to live. I like being on the outskirts rather than in the city. Does anyone know of great places which has a lower cost in rent?

HK is quite an interesting place. But it's not easy to find somewhere cheap and nice.
It depends where you want to work and what kind of place you want to live. There are places you can rent in the new territories in a village house eg Sheung Shui. You can get a nice two bedroom flat for less than HKD10K pm. Or you can live in a nano apartment 150-200 sq ft in the city for a similar price.
