A good tour operator ini Tbilisi

there are some tour operators but if you come with some friends I would recommend to come and first visit Tbilisi. While you are here you can look for a guide you like. There are plenty non commercial local guides who can give you a tour. That is not only a real insight into Georgian culture but also cheaper than a professional guide. If you want to make daytrips to destinations far outside Tbilisi there are many companies going to different locations. But again I would travel by bus or train and find a local who can show you around. You will not get the detailed information you can look up in a travel guide but I cannot remember them anyway ;-)
