Tax on rental income

Hi, I'm hoping to move to Gozo and will live off rental income generated in the UK where I will pay tax on it. Do I also have to pay tax on this income in Malta?

You have to declare all your world wide income in Malta but if the rental income is taxed in the UK,  then the "double taxation" agreement between Malta and the UK ensures that you will only pay tax on the rental income once.

If you are a non-domicliled resident (whick is most likely in your case, I presume), you are only taxable for remitted income to Malta. Assuming your UK income is not a business income, I can't see how this is taxable in Malta.
