Mt Pico De Loro Day Hike

Mt. Pico de Loro is situated in the border of Cavite and Batangas, making it easily accessible from Metro Manila. It’s the highest peak in Cavite and those that succeed in reaching its peak will be rewarded with a sweeping panoramic view of the plains of Cavite, the waters of South China Sea, and even other nearby mountains such as Mt. Batulao and Talamitam. The beautiful scenery will just take your breath away and hikers feel that the trek is surely worth it.

0300 ETD Pasay to Ternate Cavite
0500 ETA Ternate.
0545 ETA DENR / jump-off point/register
0600 Start trek.
0845 Reach highest point of the New Trail
0900 Arrival at junction with Old Trail
0930 ETA campsite
1000 ETA summit. Lunch
1100 start decent
1230 Back at DENR; tidy up back to Manila
1630 ETA Manila
