Hey, I'm new to this forum and looking for some answers before coming to Dubai for work.
so I was doing some reasearch on the web about life in UAE and I came across this article https://medium.com/@longlonglan3/6-must … 75a9a1b74d that mentioned all social media for video and voice calls apps are blocked by internet providers, so how do people comunicate with their relatives abroad? (using regular telecommunication calls are usually so costy)
other question, about accommodation: what is the best websites where I can find appartments/motels in Dubai? (my budget is not so high tho..)

This view is not accurate.
There are some apps supported by service providers and others can be used through VPN and there are also social packages offered by them.
As for accommodation, you can visit
