Farm land prices around Galati

I've been offered some land in the Galati region
But have no idea on farm land prices or cost per hector?

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

By farm land I'm assuming it's 'extravilan'; no existing permission to build on it. However, the price will also depend on exactly where it is, access, possibility to convert to intravilan, and so on. Doing a bit of googling, I've come up with extravilan land in Galati county at the following prices:

1 hectare - 2'700 Euro [2700/h]
2 hectares - 12'000 Euro [6000/h]
1 hectare - 5'200 Euro [5200/h]
1.4 hectares - 140'000 Euro (next to a lake) [14000/h]
1.4 hectare - 10'000 Euro ('possible to convert to intravilan') [7000/h]
0.6 hectare - 16'000 Euro (alongside road) [26000/h]
4.5 hectare - 45'000 Euro (has road access) [10000/h]

So seems that it can range quite a bit, depending more exactly on the location.

Thank you very much for your help.

The land is not in a convenient location or a popular area.

They are looking for 2000 euro per hectare.
It is not near a main road or a lake

It has some forest & some good land

There are 6 hectares

I trave between Galati & London

5 years ago there were many Polish workers in London but they have all returned home because wages have improved.
Land prices have also gone up in Poland

So I'm thinking of buying some land & wait few years.

Be better if beside lake or road but it's a good price I think?

Thank you again for taking time to tell me

Thing is, Galati is not a city where people move often because is smaller, poorer and doesn't have good universities or jobs.

Plus real estate here is at an ALL TIME HIGH, so you are basically buying when is more expensive.

I recommend you to look into land near Cluj and Timisoara. But wait a few years before you make a purchase because the prices are insane now.

Hi there

I may go ahead with the purchase if I can get for 1750 per hectare

Think it's a good price & my wife is from the area.

You are correct it's a poor area with nothing going on!

Thank you for the advice

Kind regards
Martin

1750 per hectare has long been sold. You might find only if you search locally and/ore the property papers are not full legally clarified.
Once the land is advertised on the internet the price will be much higher.
