Hello,
I'm in Göteborg, Sweden for the week while my spouse is here for work. While I'm enjoying art and history and culture, including walking the avenues, etc., I'd also like to volunteer my time some way while I'm here. It's difficult to do this kind of thing when I'm at home because of time constraints, but with my schedule this week, it is definitely possible (at least until this Friday afternoon).
Does anyone know of any volunteering I can do in the Göteborg, Västra Land area where not being fluent in Swedish is not a problem?

The only thing I can suggest is to look on the helpx website. Whilst most are looking for volunteers for a few weeks to a year. It is definitely worth looking.
