Choosing location

Biggest city in population, area wise, popular with ex-pats? Please be more specific.  Many people here to help with your questions.

Trying to find a location to live where's lots expats...

North shore,  Sosua / Cabarete area has many ex-pats. I have seen ex-pats almost everywhere on the island. I am not familiar with how many long term residents there are in other town & cities/  For tourists there are many places. Which are you looking for?  What are your criteria?  You will receive many replys if more specific with your  questions.

Lots of gringos?  Some prefer to avoid the overpriced, gringo tourist traps.

South coast between Barahona, and Pedernales.  Or if on the north Montecriste to D'ajabon.

Large expat community in Las Terrenas. Mostly French.
