Hi,

I'm not sure you still need info but here is,

Pet Immigration Rules United Arab Emirates

REGULATIONS FOR TAKING A PET DOG OR CAT TO THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE) FROM A COUNTRY WITH LOW INCIDENCE OF RABIES

The UAE welcomes pets but you must follow the rules for immigration.

The UAE now requires a blood titer test for pets entering from some countries. This does NOT apply to pets arriving from the US, Canada, an EU Country or a country that is considered to be rabies free.

However, you will simply the entry process if you have the blood titer test completed. The test must be done 120 or more days after the date of the last rabies vaccination and before the expiration date which is 365 days from the date given.

You must obtain an Import Paper from the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries in advance of your pet's arrival which valid for 30 days from the date issued. The ministry will charge a fee per permit. You may list up to two pets per permit. If you have more than 2 pets then multiple permits will be required.

Copy of the pets full vaccination card/certificate for each pet, clearly displaying the pet's current rabies vaccination, including the vaccine's manufacturer, batch number and expiration. The rabies vaccination must have been given at least 30 days prior to arrival in the UAE and not more than one year prior to arrival

The UAE Veterinary Certificate must be stamped (endorsed) by the government of the exporting country. If you are traveling from another country, then the Governmental Authority should endorse the forms for you. A copy of the Rabies Certificate should also be included.

All dogs and cats must be microchipped before arriving in the UAE with a pet microchip that meets ISO standards 11784 and the associated barcode and/or number must be shown on your pet's vaccination card. If it is handwritten, it should be stamped by the veterinarian.

The UAE now requires a Blood Titer Test for pets entering from countries with a high incidence of rabies. This does NOT apply to pets arriving from the US, Canada, an EU Country, or a rabies free country.

Failure to comply with these regulations will mean that your pet may be refused entry and the relevant authority in consultation with an authorized veterinarian can decide to return the pet home, or place the pet in quarantine at the expense of the owner or natural person responsible for pet, or as a last resort, without financial compensation, put the pet down where the return trip home or quarantine cannot be arranged.

VETERINARY CERTIFICATE
All countries have a unique veterinary certificates. This form differs from the International Veterinary Certificate issued by veterinarians in the United States. (APHIS 7001)

Although United Arab Emirates does not require an ISO pet microchip, we strongly suggest microchipping your pet prior to traveling.
