We are planning to move Lytteltone, Christchurch from India. My yearly income will be NZ$90,000/-. I will be moving with my wife and daughter who is schooling in Grade 2. Is this salary good to live descent life in Lytteltone or Christchurch?

Your take yearly salary will be approx $68,129.00. Which is about $1310 net per week.
This amount will give you an amount to work to when calculating costs.
Remember costs for education, travel, doctors need to be taken into account.
