The employer has to apply for the work permit. Individuals cannot make an application as the permits are linked to a specific employer and job. Staff are usually employed from one of the neighbouring countries for unskilled work (Foreign Workers): Indonesia, Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines (male only), Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan.
