We have always been careful with our money, but in Vanuatu money slides through our fingers like melted butter. Due to the salt air, without fail most things mechanical break down. For instance last week 3 water heating units all broke down within days of one another. The salt air effects the washing machine, that too needed repairs last week. A fridge broke down, luckily we had another, but that took 6 months to fix. If your car breaks down you may have to wait weeks to get the parts delivered. Budget, what's that????
