Did you plan your budget before your move to New Zealand? If so, how did you go about it?
How do you save money in your day to day life? Do you find there are any areas where you can't cut costs?
Do you have any tips about saving money in New Zealand? For example, getting the best deals on accommodation, grocery shopping and dining out, the best value transportation, etc..
Are there any apps or websites that have helped you to save money?

We have made a budget yes. We've used our weekly shopping here (UK) to work out what our weekly shop will be there and how much it will cost. Talking to people has also given us a fairly good idea of rents and bills. We're lucky that my husband is walking into a job in the same company so there's no break in salary so we can plan an exact budget for now. The plan is to live on his income and save mine. We will be living on his income till I get a job so that's doable. Plus we've done the same in the UK too
