Zika in Florianopolis - Southern States

What is your opinion and experiences regarding Zika in Florianopolis and the Southern States in general?

I am pregnant and want to give birth in Florianopolis, and am considering when I should come to Brazil.
I know there is much controversy regarding Zika, and some of that has been expressed in posts on this forum last year. What I found online is that there are WAY less cases of Zika in the South.

I am just curious about the opinion of people living in Brazil. Should I wait till a few weeks before the due date, or is the risk so minimal that 3-4 months before due date does not mean much.

Just come with some Natural Insect Repellant and you should be fine.
There are some good Natural Repellant recipes on this site and the Web.
Personally when I went to the US a few weeks back. I stocked up on some products with Deet. I don't recommend Deet based products for your condition. A lot of the information on Zika is also overblown. Research and check the stats and dayuuum Monsanto!
