I have friends that are getting married and moving to Addis Ababa from the US. Can any one suggest a wedding present? What are some of the things you wished you brought with you when you moved? Cracked cell phone, etc.

A vacuum cleaner! Maybe not the most fun thing to give as a wedding gift but I do miss it. Small effective ones are hard to find.
