Hello guys,
I just wanted to know if anyone could give me more of a general understanding of the American tax system while working with a work visa in Taiwan. Specifically I plan on teaching English next summer for a year straight, and was interested with how the tax system works?

Any income generated from your work in Taiwan must be income-taxed in Taiwan.
In addition, you have to file a tax declaration with the USA authorities - but as an English teacher you'll not earn enough to actually have to pay taxes in the USA, too.
