I am getting close to making offers on condo apartments in Patong, and Kamala. Asking prices are all over place, so I would like information as to the price of what recent apartments actually sold.

Any ideas on how to get that information?

Clearly nowhere the only place is land office they will have price based on title deed number but this does not mean it is the true price as many declare less to pay less tax.

Gap is huge between old building and recent off plan build by sqm

You have to judge what is a reasonable price for yourself , some Thai people have a number in mind and nothing will change it

Some properties are on the market for more than 5 years and asking price is increasing each year even if they never have any offer

You need to understand also they interest rate is vey high and at the end they have pay the property 3 times the price of more
