hi guys, my work permit application is pending for 3 months now. My employer said that we are still awaiting from Identity Malta for clearance. Can someone be kind to explain what this means?

Basically Identity malta is in a world of trouble at the moment, due to scams and corruption, Along with a huge backlog they are being extremely thorough. Honestly I would give them a call and ask about the status of your application.
