Sure glad I have discovered this site. I have been reading posts by other members of this site and have found it very helpful. I am currently working toward a residence visa and hopefully by the end of the year I can make the move. I have visited DR on 2 different occasions, last one being May 2015. I have researched the different areas of DR and feel the north coast Sosua area will be my best choice. I was also interested in La Romana but I have not been able to make a good comparison with the north coast areas. It seems to be a tourist area so costs I assume will be higher.
