i am software engineer, working in india, i got an offer to work in king fahad university as an contract employee,with monthly salary as SYR 13000,includes all my housing and transport allowance , can you please tell me this is good or less package and how about the house rent and cost of living in Dharan or dammam

Salary is predicted from your total years of Experience and on which Subject you have your Experience.
Well your monthly expence depends on you i.e you will be staying single or with family ?

as per your experience and your core Subject (BI & DW) you have can ask for 3 to 5 thousand SR more 18K if not then 16K as an Package !
Even though you can survive and save some money if you live with your family in 13K.
But do Negotiate as it is the first thing which they offered you i think.
also check ones your with salary calculator on payscale website.
