I'm applying for Maltese citizenship by descent by my Mother. Her Parent's (My Grand Parents) and her Grand Parents (My Great Grand Parents) where born in Malta. My Mom has to acquire her's first so she applied in August in Toronto. Once she get's her's then I will apply. They told us about a year, but does anyone else have a timeline to share?

That's about the same time line as here in Australia, this was recently quoted my the Maltese Embassy,my cousin git his within a few months but his son has to wait a year, the process is quicker for first Generation and slower for second and third..
