Hello all.
So, I am hoping to move to Amsterdam within about 3 years.
I have been researching information I may need.
I currently live in the United States.
If you could give me any information that I may need,
such as:
average prices of apartments,
about how much money I would need monthly(it will be only myself moving),
a job that would be easy to get,
etc.,
I would greatly appreciate it.

For rental prices, you could have a look on Amsterdam's Classifieds -> accomodation section; of course by then, the prices will probably have gone up 
but it'll give you an idea.
For jobs, you could have a look or even insert your CV at the jobs section.

For buying property you should go to the main site funda.nl
You can also look for jobs on Linkedin and Monsterboard. Large employment agencies are places like Randstad, Vitae or Adams Multilingual. The last one should have ads in English.

Hi Megan,
I encourage you to first call the Dutch Embassy in the states to find out if you are eligible to move here. There are only a few ways in which one can get a visa to live here in the Netherlands. I am here because I am married to a Dutch man. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to just pick up and move here, especially if you are not a citizen of an EU-member country.
