Help!!! List of certain professions: GCC residents

I'm planning to visit UAE next month, I have a valid Iqama and visa profession of BUDGET ORGANIZER. I would like to know if I can apply a visa upon arrival or should I apply before entering the UAE port. BTW.. I'm a Filipino National....

I've tried to call the UAE embassy in Riyadh and it seems that they are clueless if my visa profession is included in the list of certain categories. I've tried also to contact Sharjah/Dubai Airport Immigration Department but they are all clueless too and keep me referring to contact other numbers..

Is anyone out there have an idea? Please advise... thanks..

Go to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They will have a list that tells you what professions are "protected" by law.

Though if you are going for a visit, it doesn't matter what your profession is. If you are going to look for work that is a different issue.

You might think about visiting a site that answers questions about the UAE.

We generally answer questions about the KSA.
